Coast Guard itself rated it safe for up to 14 people on it's ID plate. Carolina Skiff makes the only 23 foot long boat that's rated for that many people and that much weight. Powered by a QUIET, nonpolluting, environmentally safe, 2005, 150 HP V-Tech Honda 4 cycle engine that's equipped with a Bob's Machine Shop hydraulic jack-plate for shallow water. CAN RUN OVER 40 MPH IN LESS THAN 1 foot OF WATER. A Motor Guide, Great White digital, saltwater 82 pound thrust, 24 volt trolling motor for even shallower trolling. This boat fully loaded and with 4 anglers plus myself can float in less than 10 inches of water. Two 30 gal live wells on T & H Marine timers that can keep our bait alive all day. Large front casting deck. Large rear casting deck. Everything in this boat can be stood or walked on including the live wells, ( to be able to fight those redfish running around the boat in the shallows). I have the only boat in Jacksonville with a Cool Mist Machine that can cool you down in the summer time heat.
Equipped with the latest in electronics, a Humminbird 898C Fishing System depth finder/fish finder with GPS, World Map, Bottom and Side 3D Imaging. Not only will it will display speed, battery voltage, water temperature, thermo clines, depth, structure, soft bottom, hard bottom and show by footage how deep the fish are under the boat. VHF radio, cell phone and compass are all on board.
Equipped with all safety equipment required and then some.
